We are delighted to see the return of Fourth Wall Laois Theatre to our stage, especially with their stunning production of John B. Keane "THE FIELD".
The whole troop just finished their dress rehearsal on Wednesday. Here are a few pictures to show you how good they look!
“If there was more co-operation the world would be an easier place”
says the Bird O’Donnell as he covers up for a heinous crime in THE FIELD, by John B Keane, to be staged by Fourth Wall Theatre Group in Birr on Saturday 5 February.
Early rehearsals on Zoom presented challenges but training from LPPN and Dunamaise management enabled the group to at least learn the script through restrictions. Partners, children, and friends provided the necessary assistance with the new technology.
The group currently consists of members in the age range eighteen to eighty-something, but it has had members as young as thirteen (Younger Charlie in DA).

You can see John B. Keane's "The Field" directed by David Corri and performed by The Fourth Wall Laois Theatre group on stage in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre this coming Saturday (February 5th).
